Coe Lake is situated behing Berea's City Hall and the Cuyahoga County Library. Once a Sandstone Quarry, it is now an excellent lake for fishing and canoeing. A Gazebo and the Kiwanis Picnic Pavillion highlight the west bank and a foot bridge adorns the north end.
The Community Band concerts are held in the gazebo in the summertime. Coe Lake also has a boardwak with a pier, a bird and butterfly habitat and a plaza.
The newest improvements are to the west bank where a nature trail and riparian project have made the area accessable to the public. Within the riparian project, the Rotary Club has created ourdoor classrooms for all ages of school children.
